Not sure if this is meant to be a water jug or pitcher, but it makes for a pretty vase to hold bluebells and may even be mid-century rather than a later retro effort: made in Soholm, Denmark, says the mark on the bottom, though apparently Soholm Pottery was still manufacturing into the mid-90s. Provenance to me is that my mother bought it at the YMCA charity shop at the tip in Hove for 50p.
