Natty neckwear

I’m a bit behind with this one, but I did some Usual Shopping by proxy for D at the reliably-rewarding annual Brunswick Square Festival in Hove last month. The stalls were as good as usual, music wasn’t bad either (D & co were playing), and I found him a couple of good silk scarves. The green one’s a Tootal, now ridiculously-priced new or in vintage shops, and a very pleasing paisley pattern.

Incidentally, I’m still wearing the denim jacket I found at the Brunswick Festival two years ago, though I gave the spotted shirt and Esprit denim skirt [same post] to L & no longer have the navy Monsoon pleated skirt (too billowy). From 2015, I also still have both the brown Marni taffeta skirt (now quite threadbare) and black Cos dress, though neither get worn very often, the former for its fragility and need of ironing (boo, hiss) and the latter because of the need for an under-layer beneath its chiffon back, which I can rarely be bothered to figure out.
