Bagging a bargain

Yes, I know I bought another handbag recently, but this one is considerably smaller, and therefore fulfils a different purpose. I’m liking its minimal, unadorned feel and soft suede interior. I hadn’t heard of the designer before – Anna Pugh – but it turns out that she has a workshop in Hove, and her bags are well outside my usual price range: the £3 I paid for this at the Tufnell Park Yard Sale makes it one of my best bargains in a long time. Wish I’d bought the larger tan leather bag the girl was also selling, as well… but never mind, someone else will no doubt be pleased with that. This one effectively replaces my longstanding favourite (which was bought in 2009 from a jumble sale in Balcombe for a grand total of 50p, so certainly gave me my money’s worth).
