Grey day

Snapped to give a glimpse of the New Flat’s fireplace as much as anything else, given that the garment here is, in itself, not that interesting. It comes under the category of Plain But Useful, and also cheap: £2 from the most excellent car boot sale at a school in Pimlico, a Sunday destination I’m trying to avoid but which remains not-so-strangely tempting. The top – silk-effect down the front, fine-knit wool elsewhere – is not strangely discoloured, by the way, this is just bad lighting for the photo. Still, you get to see the hearth tiles and fireplace (not, I suspect, the original Victorian) and a few of the move-surviving plants, including various succulents that I’m continuing to breed.
