Woven waves

In the run-up to the Great Move – oh yes, it really is going to happen this time – I have been getting rid of things (honestly) and buying very little. Well, a couple of scarves have sneaked through in the last couple of months – they pack up small – and there have been items for other people, but in terms of stuff for myself, to take to the New Place, this has been It (until the next post). Nice big swathe of Designers Guild fabric with a textural weave, I like the blue and green highlights and the wave-like pattern; £4 from Brighton Marina car boot sale. A souvenir of the seaside. Not quite sure what I’ll do with it – bedspread? – but like the scarves, it does at least fold small until I decide.
