I’ve been saving this for headline shot as it’s so nice and colourful. One large piece (more than double-folded in this picture, and bedspread-sized) with tree print (£5) and smaller tablecloth-sized red and white geometric print (£3) from Brighton Marina car boot sale. Both bits are IKEA prints, so not vintage Marimekko or anything, but they’re brand-new, fresh and clean. Not quite sure what to do with them, but as I seem to have ended up with a somewhat bland living room which is currently a neutral tone zone in shades of cream, khaki, taupe and white, a brightening-up mission may be underway. Also, a clearing-out and purging of the fabric collection, again, and passing on bits that haven’t found an application.
