French fabric

IMG_0444This rather splendid stretch of 1950s printed fabric was a chance find on the Boulevard Beaumarchais. In a day-trip to Paris (the wonder of Eurostar!) we’d ruled out an expedition to the large and well-known flea markets out towards the Peripherique, but turning a corner away from the Picasso Museum to wander up through Belleville, lo and behold, a long stretch of roadside stalls to ponder. Prices not too ridiculous, all things considered; and at five euros, I can see some cushion covers out of this souvenir.
