Drop-leaf dining: take two

usual shop 012Much as I like the little Formica-topped table (see below) it is just too big for the space it has to fit into, and does not dissemble to go through a narrow doorway/entry hatch. Will have to sell it on – but within the week, I found another, 6 inches less deep and with removable legs. This one’s not vintage, but it’s a classic shape and design, and it was all of £5 from the Brighton Racecourse car boot sale. Also gained last Sunday: Denby milk jug (50p from Brighton Marina boot fair) and two more teapots (£1 each, same stall) for Matthew’s community cafe (see below). The jug is for me to keep, as it’s a smaller twin to one I have already.
