Part two of the uncharacteristic purchases: animal print. Big this year, apparently, but I’ve always been wary of the Bet Lynch effect. Something a bit edgier about these two, though, at least when downplayed in a carefully-chosen outfit (with battered denim jacket, knee-length skirt, for example), though I certainly wouldn’t want to risk ’em in combination with bare legs or high heels. Grey and black leopard-y loose top (Zara) and below, maroon/navy (M&S), each £1 from the boot fair at Brighton Marina. Still one of the best car boot sales in the area, despite a depleted number of stalls compared to the old days at Brighton station: what’s there tends to be good and there are still bargains to be had.
