may 017may 018And as if I hadn’t gained enough skirts recently… these two are a bit brighter and jollier than other new acquisitions, nonetheless, and may serve for those moments when I’m just too bored with black. Apparently tribal/African-style patterns are quite hot this summer, as well as midi-length, so I’ve hit the mark on both counts with this geometric one (no label, but well-made, probably by a pro seamstress); the lightweight green cotton one (Promod) is solely for around-garden summer-wear, however, as it’s too see-through and flimsy for public appearances, even with leggings. Both from a rather fun jumble at Chiddingly School which was initially unpromising, but yielded some good finds after some sustained digging and sifting.
