The last two weeks’ jumbling has been less than fruitful, but a few gems came forth. From Ditchling, a pair of desert boot-style Clarks Originals, in better nick than they appear in this badly-colourised image; these polished up nicely and though D didn’t want them in the end, they have been very quickly rehomed. Other finds at that same sale were limited to a floral dress/T-shirty thing (given to a friend), a flimsy but nicely-shaped Cos long-sleeved blue T-shirt, a light brown Cos blouse (too small, unfortunately) and a man’s patterned blue silk/wool scarf (happy birthday, Matthew!).
Headed off from there to Ringmer but all I found was an amusing embroidered apron (useful for doing the washing-up, as my low-set butler sink means that I inevitably get wet and filthy) and a frilly fake-silk blouse for something costume-related. And from Fletching, last Saturday, nothing but a red scarf and a couple of cute little hand-knitted children’s cardigans (gone to Donna at Bobby & Dandy Vintage, Blatchington Road, Hove, who is now stocking retro and vintage kids’ clothes).
