Ebb and flow

And thus the continual ebb and flow of stuff in/stuff out of the house is perpetuated. On the one hand, I took a stall at a one-day pop-up vintage fair at Super+Super HQ, home to craft classes, artistic activities and co-working spaces for creative freelancers; I passed some things on to new homes, made a few pounds and had the chance to give my collected clutter a good go-through. A most civilised way to spend a Saturday – beats getting up at the crack of dawn to stand outside at a car boot sale, especially with the currently unpredictable weather conditions – and Amy and Claire do make most excellent cake (thanks for your hospitality, ladies).

On the other, I promptly went out the next day to the car boot sale at Brighton Marina, and bought something else. New Giant Sand T-shirt – I love the inscription “25 years finally paid off” – from my friend Chris, £1.50. And whilst on the subject of Giant Sand, contain yourselves, girls: I have found an absolutely adorable picture of Howe Gelb, covered in kittens. Aaahhhh…
