Vintage kimono, smart shirt

Two excellent finds from my New Favourite Sunday Activity, the car boot sale at Brighton Racecourse. Blue striped and well-tailored Gresham Blake shirt for D (oh yes, yet another shirt for him), £1 and a perfect fit, and for me, a lovely vintage embroidered kimono jacket (£5). I do worry a little that this may look as if I have gone out wearing my dressing gown (note to self: don’t go out with D in the pyjama-like paisley shirt, below) so will take care to wear it with a proper skirt or a fitted dress bearing no resemblance to a nightie. It’s short enough to get away with, I think.
