Patterns and primness

Some leftovers from last week. Found at the Selmeston spectacular, part of my £6 bag: leopard-print Kookai cardigan, polka-dot M&S blouse; H&M black skirt with covered buttons. I’ve worn the skirt almost constantly, the blouse has been to the office and the cardie’s a new favourite. I’m never quite sure about animal prints – can be terribly ageing, and the Bet Lynch effect worries me – but am applying carefully within the context of an outfit. From Lindfield (£1 the lot): navy blue straw hat, almost cowboy-shape when on, to put away for next summer; M&S Fair Isle-style cardie (bit frumpy on me, much better on Jo-Ann who now has it); little leather  change-purse.
