The black and the bright

This little lot actually represents the least interesting finds of the weekend, which is a good start. Three absolutely new tunic-style tops, to be redistributed amongst friends and workmates (see, I perform a public service here); brown retro print cotton, from New Look; blue shift with applique and beadwork, M&S; shiny swirly green/silver one, Monsoon. Black M&S shift dress, brand-new with tickets still in, ditto (too big for me); Eighties tux-style black satin jacket I might keep, minus the shoulder pads. All in a bag which cost me the grand total of £3.20 for the whole damn lot (to be continued), from a jumble sale in Selmeston, and totted up by a woman whom, I’m sure, went to school with me (flicker of recognition, but what seemed like a mutual decision not to bother with the so-what-have-you-been-doing-for-the-last-20-years conversation).
