A Saturday haul – at low cost

So I found a Picasso at a jumble sale… silk printed scarf, one of the cash-ins his descendants made after his death. With brown silk handkerchief/pocket square and two blue silk scarves, all 20p each, jumble sale in Rodmell. Further finds of the weekend: man’s white shirt with bib front; black and white gingham cropped blouse (is it gingham if it’s not red/white checks?); navy cords; dresses from New Look, Oasis and Primark (given to Jo-Ann), blue and white silk blouse,  on a fill-a-bag (the red one) for £1 deal at Chailey. Black snaffle loafers (Alfred Sargent), 50p, and very cute cape-like navy blue 1960s coat, £1, from Rodmell.

  1. Love this coat – would look great with thick woollen tights and Mary Janes.
