A trio of useful items from the Brighton Marina car boot sale. My find’s the wide-sleeved blue linen jacket – great big circular buttons, £2, probably early ’80s. D came back with a French Connection tank-top, (I’m not sure I approve. Cardigans on a man, I can just about condone. Tank-tops are a whole different matter. There’s only so far geek-chic can go); and spotted green shirt, which looks great (I approve most whole-heartedly).
