Random items of the week

Random items, from recent jumble sales in Fletching, Framfield and Ringmer. Two boxes of little notelets (Pre-Raphaelite images) and a box of about 20 blank William Morris-pattern cards, all untouched (that’s all my thank-you notes and birthday card/Mothers’ Day needs sorted out for the near future then, at least for female recipients); black fake-snake purse; black corduroy peaked cap; plus, lurking in the background and lost in the reflected light, two very fragile (and very expensive) Riedel wine glasses which I got for 50p and – unbelivably – managed to bring home unbroken. Also bought but not photographed: seven large sackfuls of ready-chopped logs for the wood-burner, very reasonably-priced and an unusual but, to me, very useful offering at the Framfield playgroup’s sale.
