Generation game

Didn’t make it out to a jumble sale last Saturday – nothing I could be bothered to head out of town for – but no matter: I went to see my granny instead, and then my mother, who had both turned a few things out. Came back with some jumpers (coming up next); a bagful of tatty candles (good for the garden on summer nights: even the stubs can be stuck in flowerbeds); a black and gold Indian necklace; yet another headscarf; a man’s neck-scarf for D; and a very flamboyant blue and purple blouse.
