Crockery and candlesticks

From jumble sale in Lindfield, some entirely unnecessary crockery: three pale cream candlesticks, two white and two pale blue (10p each; the blue’s matching the latest colour-experiment for the kitchen quite well); two dark blue ceramic ramekins, oven-proof (10p each); a Staffordshire pottery mug with an early aircraft on it (20p; I have a bit of a thing about old planes); and possibly the only thing of any value at all, a ’70s West German bowl which I plan to use as a plant pot (also 20p). How to fill up the new kitchen alarmingly quickly.

  1. Nothing wrong with getting a bit of ‘unnecessary pottery’ – the more the merrier, I say! Emma
