Frilly, silky and stripy

Frilly ’70s dress with an Edwardian flavour, perhaps for the costume box at Preston Manor, 50p; sparkly beaded belt (20p)  and blue silk ’80s shirt (20p), from the jumble sale at Plumpton Green. However, the only item which I will actually wear myself is, of course, the striped Breton top (also 20p): it’s genuinely French, a nice oatmealy loose knit and a change from the usual blue and white.
