Couldn’t walk away from this little cylindrical leather bag, perfectly plain and simple and just £2 at the Brighton Marina car boot sale. It’s clearly quite old; the guy selling it suggested it was a map bag, to hold rolled-up paperwork, though I don’t think it’s military-issue. Seen here with two other entirely gratuitous purchases, a pair of lanterns (50p from jumble sale at Framfield) though these will at least be good to put outside the house with the pumpkin on Hallowe’en.
