Crazy cottons

usual shop october 2009 013A very odd selection, from Balcombe and Lindfield jumble sales, of which the floaty Indian dress is probably the most wearable. The pair of very bizarre white shorts with buttons – to be worn with braces – work surprisingly well over a pair of black tights (though not for me: they demand someone both younger and more adventurous); the Fifties-ish blue print tunic is quite simple in shape; the two blouses have potential, but the most outlandish item of all is the pair of brown knee-length knickerbockers. No, I don’t dare, but I can find a girl who will. Eighties retro ahoy!
