Petticoats and riding boots

usual-shop-jan-09-029Over to the Kent borders again this week, to Mayfield in the morning then Ringmer in the afternoon (both Bonfire Society jumbles). The pink silk vintage petticoat may go to my mother for the museum costumes, the purple one’s for the little girls next-door to my granny, who are building up an impressive dressing-up box of their own. The boots are for the local Pony Club’s secondhand kit sale, again administered by my mother, who spends much of her time dressing people up one way or another. No comment necessary on genetic inheritance, it’s blindingly obvious.
